rat.gifGenesis offers numerous rodent laboratory services. One of our specialties is the development and testing of vertebrate pest control products. In many countries, rodent-borne diseases are of serious public health concern. Some 40 diseases are transmitted from various rodent species to humans. We also do large mammal repellency studies.

We specialize in radio telemetry, having monitored behavioral patterns for many rodent and avian species. Recently, we have tracked the movements of the Eastern Mole (Scalopus aquaticus), Botta’s pocket gopher (Thomomys bottae), and the Black-tailed Prairie Dog (Cynomys ludovicianus). We are GPS/GIS capable. We also offer field rodenticide efficacy trials.

earth.gifIn addition to disease, rodents destroy much of the world's food supply. We have developed and implemented wildlife management and rodent/disease control strategies worldwide. Our knowledgeable staff is comprised of wildlife biologists, conservationists, wildlife epidemiologists and rodent control specialists.
